Paintball and Camping

Well that is done with. Again I was surprised by the players this time. I thought all the players were safe, honest and played with the upmost sportsmanship.
I (we) expected more players for that weekend, but as it turned out it was 100 of our paintball friends had a good time in the woods.
So, now I have planned the following: Mission based scenario paintball, a Big Game, Woodsball and storyline scenario. And here are my feelings on that.
Mission based scenario, Americans got into the games fast, Germans hated because the game moved too slow (and there was no Respawning).
Big Games Americans dislike because there is no point to the game just shooting and there is respawning. Germans enjoy because there is loads of shooting and respawning.
Woodsball, Americans enjoy because they can run through the woods or hide. Germans like this game because they can hide and there is respawning.
Storyline scenario is the hit among both Americans and Germans. I thought about this and it’s the Third team that keeps things moving along. Either a scavenger hunt or objective as long as there was a third team involved I feel that both parties were happy.
So those are my thoughts on this, what are yours?
So, how did you do this last weekend playing paintball?
May 27, 2008 on 5:40 am | In Your weekend Playing paintball | 36 CommentsI (we) would like to hear how you snuck up and safety shot that player. Or how pissed off you truly were being shot out by your own team-mate as you made that run on the enemy’s respawn. Or . . . you know how it goes. Come on we can all smile about now, RIGHT!
